In 1 Timothy 4:7-8 we read, “Train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” The book I am reviewing is called Disciplines of a Godly Man. It is written by Kent Hughes. He earned his Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is Senior Pastor Emeritus at College Church in Wheaton, Illinois in America.
